We look forward to seeing all the St. Dominic Savio families out tonight to celebrate the start of another exciting school year.
If any families have any previously enjoyed sports equipment, please feel free to bring them to the BBQ tonight to donate to our school community for sport initiatives.
Please keep in mind:
Dogs are an important part of life for many families, and as such, are often included in day-to-day activities such as walking children to and from school. The school appreciates this inclusion and values pet ownership as an educational experience, it also acknowledges other families (and individuals) can find contact with dogs stressful and even frightening. This procedure takes into consideration the needs and expectations of all members of the St. Dominic community and also minimizes the risk of accident or injury to people or animals within the school grounds.
- No dogs are to be on the school site between 8:45am and 4pm unless permission has been sought by administration.
- Dogs that are walked to school should be on a leash. When around other St. Dominic School students, all Dog leashes need to be held by adults only.
- The owner will be asked to remove the dog from the premises if they are on the school site unless special permission has been granted by administration.
We thank you for understanding.
