Dragon Update for March 9 – 13

The Umbrella Project Theme for March: Kindness

The new Umbrella Project Theme for the month of March is Kindness. At our Student of the Month Assembly, we watched a video that helped show our Dragons that power of Kindness. Watch it with your child(ren) and have a discussion with them about its meaning.

Cold and Wet Weather

Now that Spring is around the corner, our back schoolyard will begin to become wet and sloppy, even though there will still be bouts of winter weather. The aim is to try to have the students outside in the fresh air as much as possible. Please make sure that your child(ren) has/have extra pairs of socks available and splash pants to help keep them dry. This will also help them stay comfortable for the next recess as they will not be going outside damp and susceptible to becoming cold quickly.
