Lenten Message

As we await Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday, please take the time to discuss Lent with your family. A great resource to start the conversation is in the following link:

Busted Halo is a great site to visit for many helpful and informative videos about our Faith.

Lenten Food Drive

Our Lenten Food Drive will begin on April 1st until April 16th. Please consider sending in some non-perishable food items for this worthwhile cause to support those in our community that are struggling. Stay tuned for more information coming out shortly!

Umbrella Project Presentation

Our School Council is presenting The Umbrella Project’s Dr. Jen Forristal in our school gymnasium on Tuesday April 23. The presentation begins at 6:00 until 7:15. A flyer has been sent home with the youngest and only students last week. It should be a very informative night for all. Please see the flyer in the following link:

April Umbrella Theme

We continue to explore the Umbrella themes each month and students are starting to build their own personal umbrellas – being able to use various strategies to help them deal with struggles they may face in their lives.  Throughout the month of April, we will be exploring the theme of Intrinsic Motivation. Take a minute to read the attached article that can be found at the link below. It has some great activities for your children around Intrinsic Motivation.

Stations of the Cross

On Thursday, our students will have the opportunity to experience the Stations of the Cross in our gymnasium. Our School Pastoral Team has created some interactive activities for the students to engage in to prepare themselves for the death and resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus. All parents are invited to attend this special event as well. It will be set up in the gym all day long.

Math Matters!

Can you solve this? Hint: all of the numbers have something in common except one. Can you figure out which out one?
