“Valentine’s Bake Sale and Cake Raffle” to support our “Free the Children” pillar of Opportunity in India
St. Dominic Savio Catholic School has always supported efforts to help individuals who are in need right here in our own community and in the world.
In February, we are looking to raise money for our Social Justice affiliate organization of “Free the Children”. For many years, St. Dominic Savio has been supporting Free the Children’s programs. This year, St. Dominic Savio students picked one of the neediest areas involved with the “Free the Children program” to help with opportunities for education and jobs in India.
“Valentine’s Bake Sale and Cake Raffle” Thursday, February 8th, 2018 Front foyer of St. Dominic Savio School.
You can help in a couple of ways:
- We are asking for any donations of any sweet food items (e.g. cookies, cupcakes, candy, chocolate …) and full cakes that we could sell to raise money or raffle off. This year we are asking if the food brought in could relate to one of three themes: Valentine’s Day; Lent or Olympics. You could use colours, shapes or traditional baking to help you think of an idea. ***PLEASE BE REMINDED WE ARE A NUT FREE SCHOOL ***
- You can purchase yummy treats or you could win a cake for yourself (through the raffle) on Thursday, February 8th, 2018.
If you can make a donation, please bring it to school on the morning of Thursday, February 8th, 2018.
