St. Dominic Dragons Complete The Great Gulp Challenge!!

Good Afternoon Dragon Nation!

We hope this email finds you well. Even though we are apart, we continue to rock it together! The completion of The Great Gulp Challenge is evidence that our Dragon Spirit is alive and well. Take a look at our video for proof!

The Great Gulp Challenge

Thanks to Ms. Huston and our Eco Warriors for making this happen! Also, thanks goes out to all the amazing staff, students, and families who participated in this project. Such an amazing way to continue to shine even when times are tough.

We can’t wait to see you all again. Until then, remember to practice social distancing, wash your hands and spread kindness like confetti.

God Bless!

Supporting Children After a Tragedy Resource

Good Afternoon Dragon Nation

As you are probably aware, there was an awful incident that occurred in Nova Scotia over this past weekend. Due to this event and our current pandemic situation, some of our students may have questions or concerns regarding their safety. We have attached a resource that you may use to answer some of their questions and support them if needed. The bottom 2 boxes in the infographic have links/contact information for supports that are available to you.

As always, we pray that you continue to stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to the time when we can all be together again. God Bless you and your family.

ThoughtExchange: Community Feedback opportunity

Good Morning Dragon Nation

Hope everyone is well. We miss all of our students and cannot wait for when we will all be back together. As Week 2 of Teacher Led Distance Learning is underway, the Waterloo Catholic District School Board is asking for your feedback. They are looking for you to share your thoughts about how things are going with the distance learning. We ask that you visit the link below and complete the ThoughtExchange Survey that is posted there. Both parents and students are able to fill this out, so please make sure to have your daughter or son share their thoughts as well!
